Make A Wish reached out to Patio Cover Designs by S to help their Wish Child, Mattea fulfill her wish of having a backyard play space. Mattea is an 11 year old girl who has been diagnosed with a nervous system disorder. Mattea always wakes up happy and her smile can light up a room!
Mattea loves to spending time outside, playtime on the floor, and sensory experiences, like riding over bumps in her wheelchair. This space would include shade so she can be protected from the sun, turf so she can get out of her wheelchair and play, and a pathway to safely get her from the house to her play space.
Below are all the businesses local and out of state that generously donated their time, materials, resources and man power to help make Mattea's Wish come true! We couldn't have done it with out you all!
Thank you so much for being a part of this incredible Wish!
Bill Anson, President of Duralum Building Products, generously donated all the material to build Mattea's shade structure. Mark Nunnelly and the team at Duralum helped produce and ship all her materials to us.
Chelsie Fournier, Owner of Boss Lady Landscaping donated her time, resources and crew to landscape Mattea's backyard. She also coordinated with other local vendors to fulfill Mattea's backyard wish.

Through the magic of Wishes, we try to give back a tiny portion of the childhood that they have lost to their illnesses. Doctors say that the anticipation, experience, and long lasting memories that the Wish brings to the children are often enough to carry them through some very difficult times.
It is the belief of Make- A-Wish that, together we can create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope and transformation in a child and a community.
When you donate, you're giving children renewed strength to fight their illnesses, bringing families closer together and uniting entire communities. You can change lives.
Thank you Make A Wish for allowing us to be a part of granting this wish! We are truly honored and humbled to be included in such a wonderful gift you provide for these children and their families.
We look forward to working with you on future wishes!
